Parkell TurboSENSOR ultrasonic scaler has a minimal power debridement mode for routine scaling that concentrates on patient comfort. For removal of stubborn calculus, the unit includes a high setting that is easily obtained using a foot pedal.

The Parkell TurboSENSOR is an autotune magnetostrictive ultrasonic tooth scaler that works at 25 KHz or 30 KHz. The TurboSENSOR detects whether the handpiece contains 30 KHz insert or a 25 KHz, and switches to the correct operating frequency. The TurboSENSOR has an enlarged low-power range to enhance patient comfort during debridement, and when necessary for deposits, a power-boosting Turbo feature to boost scaling power.

Parkell’s favorite TurboSENSOR Ultrasonic Scaler combines true versatility with intuitive operation. Its smart-circuitry automatically switches operating frequency to match the insert in the handpiece and senses whether you have added a 30KHz or 25KHz tip. For individual comfort during regular climbing, an enlarged debridement mode is offered by the TurboSENSOR. Once you are working in this mode, an LED on the control panel tells you. In the opposite end of this control panel, the TurboSENSOR provides a higher maximum power setting for calculus blasting. For removal of calculus, only increase pressure and you will get a turbo power boost.
