The designers created the inLab MC X5 five-axis as a universal production unit. It meets dental lab needs for cost-effective production. Dentsply Sirona gives your lab more freedom with materials and uses. It also helps with processing outside CAD data.
inLab MC X5 is a universal 5-axis production unit for wet and dry production of blocks and disks. The design meets lab dental requirements and focuses on economical and effective production processes.
You can choose from many materials. Dentsply Sirona and its CAD/CAM partners offer high-quality options. The inLab MC X5 is designed to work well with these materials.
Benefits:
- Universal: Wet/dry production unit for ceramic, polymers and metal
- Precise: High-end block and blank control with 5-axis machining
- Convenient: Simple, fast change of materials and tools
- Large variety of materials
- Broad range of indications
- Open production unit: With its CAM module, the unit can be connected flexibly to other CAD systems.
Why choose inLab MC X5?
- Universal
Depending on the material and indication, the inLab MC X5 can be used for dry or wet production. With over thirty years of experience in wet processing glass ceramics, this machine is perfect for wet grinding. It works well for fully contoured restorations made from strong, monolithic materials. Alternating between wet and dry production, e.g., from glass ceramics to zirconia, is fast and easy.
- Broad range of indications
The application range for inLab MC X5 enables dental labs to make productive use of their equipment. Processable disc height and setting angles offer flexibility for manufacturing implant restorations with heavily diverging screw channels or abnormally shaped stumps.
- Open
A great addition to the inLab components in Eos X5 and inLab software exists. It can also process other STL restoration data. This includes implant-supported restorations with screw access channels. The unit features its CAM module, allowing flexible connections to other CAD systems.

The inLab MC X5 processes standard discs (ø 98.5 mm, up to 30 mm thick*) and blocks in a single machine. Changing from discs to blocks takes just a few seconds. The unique multi-block holder can hold up to six blocks of different materials. This design helps improve productivity, even with several single-tooth restorations.
Depending on the material and purpose, the inLab MC X5 can be used for dry or wet production. There is no setup time between dry and wet processing, making producing different types of materials quick and easy.
The inLab MC X5 technology can precisely capture the position of blocks, helping to use materials most economically. Workers machine monoblocs and prefabricated titanium abutment ingots efficiently.
The high-quality interior design of inLab MC X5 includes smooth surfaces and rounded contours. This reduces deposit amounts making the machine easy to clean. The smart suction idea, coverable tool storage, and software cleaning system are all made to help you work better.
